Rules & Regulations

We strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we have established the following rules and regulations. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them for everyone to have the best experience possible. 

Rent

Rent must be paid within three (3) days of the due date. After three (3) days your utilities will be turned off. After six (6) days your unit will be towed.

Insurance

All renters must have insurance on their campers and vehicles. The park is not responsible for damage caused by storms or falling trees/limbs.

Check-in &
Check-out Times

Check-in is at 1:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. Contactless check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. Otherwise, we ask all guests to register at the office.

Utilities

Utilities are turned off from November 1 through March 15. You may check your unit as often as you wish. If you choose to spend the night, you will be charged the daily rate at that time.

Quarry

The quarry is off limits at all times. All fishing is CATCH & RELEASE ONLY, fishing is allowed from dawn to dusk. No night fishing.

Kayaking & Non-Motorized Boating

Kayaking is only permitted during daylight hours for the safety of all participants (no kayaking after dark). Secondly, wearing a life jacket is mandatory while kayaking to ensure everyone's well-being. Additionally, individuals must be over 18 years old to kayak alone, promoting responsible use of our facilities. Finally, to maintain a family-friendly environment and prioritize safety, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during kayaking activities. 12 and under need a life vest at all times as well as a parents supervision.

Quiet Hours

Please respect our quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. During this time, please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other campers. 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Injury

Under Ohio law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a camper or visitor to this campground. If that injury or death results from the risk inherent to camping. Inherent risks to camping include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to the land features, equipment, animals, or the negligent actions of the camper or visitor. You are assuming the risk in participating in camping.

Ejection

The Park reserves the right to eject, without refund, anyone causing a nuisance or being inconsiderate to other guests, or vandalizing Park property, or who is, in our opinion, violating the rules, vandalizing, creating a disturbance, etc.

Lake & Fishing


Enter at your own risk and beware of snakes. No swimming, canoeing, kayaking, etc are allowed on the lake. The lake is a pay fishing lake for anyone that is not a campground member. Daily tickets are available in the office. A State Fishing License is required to fish in the lake. Permits may be obtained at the Office. Please respect the rights and privacy of surrounding property owners is crucial, and it is essential to refrain from trespassing on their properties. Trespassing is not only disrespectful but also illegal.

Swimming Pond

Enter at your own risk - no lifeguard on duty. The swimming pond is closed at dusk and reopens at dawn. Swimmers swim at their own risk. Children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Campfires

Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings only. Please do not move fire rings or start fires outside of designated areas. Never leave a campfire unattended and make sure it is fully extinguished before leaving it. Make sure the fire ring is cleaned out before leaving for the weekend. NO trash in fire rings.

Septic

Septic hoses must have a constant fall from the RV to the septic opening in the ground.

Golf Carts

Only licensed drivers over 16 are permitted to drive or operate a golf cart alone in the park. In order for a child/youth to drive a golf cart in the park, an adult over the age of 21 must ride in the front seat of the cart with the child/youth. Owners of golf carts are responsible for any damage caused by golf carts. NO three-wheelers, mini bikes, loud motorcycles, BB guns, fireworks, or go-carts allowed in the park.

Respect for Others

Zero tolerance for Physical or Verbal Violence - One strike, you're out. Please be respectful of other guests and their privacy. Do not walk through occupied campsites or play loud music or other noise that may disturb other campers.

Pet Policy

We love pets, but for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, all pets must be kept inside (outdoor cages are not allowed). Small fencing is acceptable if it is removed for mowing, provided that residents do not mow their own lots. Pets remain on a leash at all times. If your animal disturbs others, you will be asked to leave. In the interest of everyone’s health, picking up after your pets is required. *No aggressive behavior will be tolerated. Those that are unable to control their pets may be asked to leave the campground.

Construction

Before beginning any construction of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether interior or exterior (including, but not limited to, carports, sheds, fences, decks, cabanas, steps, etc), written approval by Management must be obtained. Ownership may in its sole discretion deny permission to perform such work.

Speed Limit

The speed limit on the campground is 5 mph. Please observe this limit at all times for the safety of all guests, especially children.

Parking

Vehicles shall not block adjacent sites or roadways. No more than (1) group shall be permitted per campsite. Do not park on the grass or in the streets.

Firearms

The discharge of firearms is prohibited on the campground at all times.

Alcohol and Drugs

Please keep all alcoholic beverages at your own campsite. We ask that you do so responsibly and not disturb other guests. The use of drugs, including marijuana, is strictly prohibited. Illegal drug use of any kind is PROHIBITED and is grounds for immediate removal from the campground. ZERO TOLERANCE - law enforcement will be called.

Facilities

Showers and Bathrooms are open 24 hours. We ask that guests do their best to keep these as clean as possible out of respect for one another.

Emergency Procedures

In case of an emergency, please dial 911. For non-emergency issues, please contact the campground office during office hours.

Water

The Park is on well water. Do not wash your vehicles. There are additional charges for washing your RV or other vehicles.

Appliances

Any outside appliances (such as refrigerators) need to be covered or stored in a shed.

Trash Disposal

Please help keep our campground clean by properly disposing of trash and recycling in designated containers. All garbage must be put in your own plastic bags before being deposited in the Park’s dumpsters. This includes common areas, amenities, and your own sites. Please DO NOT bring trash from home, we have limited dumpster capacity.

Loss of Items

The Park is not responsible for losses or injuries due to fire, failure of any utility, theft, or accident for any reason whatsoever.

Site Upkeep

All sites must be kept neat and clean of debris and in an uncluttered state. Trash and litter should be disposed of in designated receptacles promptly. Personal belongings should be stored neatly and not left outside to clutter the site or common areas. We will ask you to clean up your site if it fails to meet this requirement and if not updated in a timely manner will result in penalty fees.

RV Upkeep

All RV owners are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in a clean and sanitary condition. Regular cleaning of both the interior and exterior of the RV is required to uphold community standards. Waste disposal, including gray water and sewage, must be managed properly. Exterior decorations or modifications should enhance the aesthetic appeal of the RV park and not detract from it. Any outdoor furniture, grills, or recreational equipment should be maintained in good condition and stored appropriately when not in use. We will ask you to clean up your site if it fails to meet this requirement and if not updated in a timely manner will result in penalty fees.

Visitors

Your site is NOT transferable to another individual. All campaign fees are non-refundable should you sell your camper or decide to leave for any reason, including violation of rules. All visitors need to check into the office and sign in. You are responsible for your guests and their actions, so have them review these rules and regulations. You are allotted 2 visitors per site, any more than 2 visitors you must get approval from management. Visiting hours are between 10 am - 8 pm.

Mowing

The grass is mowed during the week. Keep picnic tables, automobiles, and other personal items off the grassy areas to help our mowing crew.

Media Release

By entering the grounds of the Arrowhead Lake RV Park, you grant permission for the photographing of yourself and the recording of your voice. You understand that these materials may be used for advertising, publicity, or commercial purposes, both domestically and internationally. This consent extends to the {PARK NAME} and its affiliates. You release {PARK NAME}, its affiliates, and any authorized users from any claims regarding the use of such materials. If the subject is under 18, the parent or legal guardian's approval is required.
